If Carlsberg did golf weekends then Mick Bell and Jamie Anderson have just been on one!
Following their win in the final of the Kingsley Trophy on Saturday, they teamed up again on Sunday for the prestigious Casson Shield.
Scoring was expected to be low and so it proved with a host of pairs shooting nett 65's or better.
Setting the early pace were the pair of Mike Stanworth and Phil Cappleman with a nett 64, Kingsley runners up Gary Dixon and Paul Pennock eclipsed that with superb nett 62 and looked set for victory, however Kingsley champions Mick Bell and Jamie Anderson rounded off an amazing weekend for them by posting a nett 60 and claiming the win.
Julie Casson was on hand to present the Casson Shield to Mick and Jamie, Mick thanked the Casson family in his winners speech and shared some great memories of Nigel Casson in whom the Casson Shield is named after.
